do they breed without heaters? i've got 3 snails (2 species too...) in a big olive jar and a plant that likes cold water that the LFS ripped me off on. (grr). they've been there for like a month, and no snail children. is it the temperature? it's about 18 degrees celcius, and seldom wanders over 20,...

my dp does that sometimes... it's like what he does when i'm looking and it's not feeding time or something. he actually collected a 'moustache' of algae from glass surfing a few times.

i've not fed my DP snails in AGES and i'm a bit worred about his teeth... he sucked up a bloodworm and spat half of it out, but couldn't bite the rest off...! is that a problem? and at night i see (a) small snail(s) on the glass. maybe he's lazy. or mayb they're the Malaysian something snails.
