SICK puffer - too Skinny

Hi Guys Ive had my GSP around 2 months I have 2 in a 60 Ltr tank, the water is fine I use aquarium salt and the salinity is 00.8, ammonia good, nitrate and nitrite fine, although 1 of my puffers seemed to get lockjaw and stopped feeding, he is feeding fine now and happily chomps his food which is a ...

GSP problem

Hi there

I have 2 GSP and one of them seems to have lock jaw ?? he is swimming ok, not great but his jaw seems to be locked open. Is this common ?? please advise. I dont think its the teeth as he was eating krill fine 2 days ago.

yes the tank has cycled, they are very clean at the moment, I have messier goldfish? maybe they will get worse, although at the moment they seem fine, no sign of milky eyes, lethargy or none eating. Will change the tank once they get a bit nearer there largest size, give them more play room and swim...

Thanks for the advice, please could you explain how these little fish need such a huge tank when you can keep multiple coldwater or tropical in much smaller tanks?? is it because they are nosy and like to explore.
