Re: I want more puffers! D:

Out of all of the ones I've had, fahakas are the most personable IMO. I would have to agree..... with everything Ive researched and all the countless videos and trips to ALL the fish stores in the area.... I think that the Fahakas are definitely the dream puffer for anyone, and being that there FW ...

Re: I want more puffers! D:

A 55g is not sufficient for 3 GSPs. Its barely workable for 2. And I would definitely disagree about them having the best personality of puffers. Ya i guess your right about the size.... I guess i would like to think a 55 would be big enough, but prolly not when they get to be 6", and i guess ...

Re: I want more puffers! D:

I would agree that GSP's are a good intro and something to look into, though a 55gal would probably be in order for 2 or 3 max, but they have about the best personality of the puffers (which already have nearly the best personality of any fish). They are always always always active and paying attent...

Re: Puffers Stomach

Ive also heard that puffers dont need the high in fat beef heart, my DP along with my girlfriends 2 GSP's seem to love krill(freeze dried) the most, along with bloodworms(freeze dried and frozen), though i dont soak my frozen bloodworms, its kinda hard to soak 3-5 frozen bloodworms.

Re: Tank mates

As far as i knew bumblebees are a brackish fish, other than that you could prolly have one more dwarf in there, or a Otocinclus catfish or two which i hear are quite busy and help with algea. I just got a few ghost shrimp and one Amano shrimp which are pretty exciting and always busy, but may add a ...

Re: Feeding Dwarf Puffer

Thanks all for the info, I also agree that variety is the key. And i love feeding him so he gets plenty of it lol Today i went and got some Hikari frozen bloodworm sheets. Much easier to break off a piece then the cubes. And it said they have added vitamins and stuff so im sure with the other foods ...

Feeding Dwarf Puffer

Sorry if youve already got this post a hundred times, but as usual my lil DP is a damn picky eater. Well my girlfriend had him on a diet of mainly freez dried blood worms. So i tried to give him some of the 'Top Fin' brand that i had layin around, which arent quite as nice and dense.... he totally r...
