45g Aquarium - dragon/Miurus puffer

Hello, I have a 45g tank that has nothing but rams horn/pond snails and Endlers/guppies multiplying like crazy. So my wife asked about adding a puffer and letting him do some crowd control. Ha. I am thinking one of lurkers but I read they don’t do much of anything ever. The others like a fahaka get ...

Fahaka with ips

Picked up fahaka that is very skinny, looks like just a head. I am going to pick ip some IP meds. Prazi pro or should I go for something else? Also, I tossed a piece of frozen krill in and he has no interest in that. Would bloodworms work as medicated food? If I can get him to eat them. He i...

Re: Old MBUs

Late reply, sorry, technical issues. My T. mbu lived a bit over 12 years in my care, was just over 27" TL, and died from jumping out of the tank. It was not "old" acting. It was almost certainly fully mature, but had no symptoms of being old. Thanks for the reply. Mature is more what...

Indeed wrote:yes, its also to help with algae but that is simply a desired side effect. I would dose excel but 120g can get expensive to dose fast. Just seems a waste if i have 216w t5-ho and am not using some sort of c02 supplementation.
Have you found a good deal on some?
