My three GSPs just celebrated 18 months anniversary since I bought them from the LFS. There are very healthy and cheeky. I still don't understand how can GSPs be stunted in a small tank if they are healthy and eat normally. Isn't it growth rate is proportionate with the amount of food intake?

I put a few 1/2 inch snails. Those puffers tried to bite open and suck them out but it's too big for their small mouth. Eventually I had to crush them myself, only then can they have their meal today.

My BW tank is fully cycled. There're no traces of ammonia and nitrite presence for the past two months. PH is around 7.5-8. I use a hanging bio-filter from Eheim. Anyone knows what's the best recommendation for algae eaters for BW? I have a common plec in my tank (1.002 SG). I'm increasing my SG again this week and afraid the pleco couldn't take it with higher SG.

All GSPs have nice neon green patch. They eat like normal. Looks healthy. Their bellies color are not consistent. Sometimes white, sometimes dark.

This morning water parameters: Ammonia=0, Nitrite=0, Nitrate=10mg/L, PH=7.5. I feed them once a day with frozen blood worms and ghost shrimps.

GSPs like to have some hiding place. My tank has some artificial rocks and fake plants. The little fellas like to hide around the rocks and when you come near, they'll rush out to you begging for food. Don't be deceived. They won't stop eating. I feed them not more than once a day.
