Re: What's your puffer's name?

Fahaka Feeding

I know everyone says to remove uneaten food but I have this Ninja Ghost shrimp that D-Bo can not catch. It is really funny to watch him cause he is so focused and this shrimp is so fast. My question is do I have to take this guy out I know I should probably gut load him as he has been in the tank fo...

I have been looking around for a good inexpensive chiller I have found a few for around $400 us I am going to probably end up going that route all though all yesterday I had a fan blowing across the top of the tank and the temp never went ab...

Fahaka temp.

Hey guys we have had a little bit of a heat spell the last couple days My coffee Shop does not have AC so the water temp in D-Bo's Tank is fluctuating up and down about 4 degrees between morning and night. In the morning it is like 78 F and by afternoon it is sometimes as high as 84F but most of the...

Re: Fahaka behaviour change

Tricky I like it my mom use to use a similiar method only she would stuff peppers with Meat and vegies so that we would eat full servings of veggies. I have read that I should use a movement trick to get him to eat but some of the food I get does not sink. How do I get it to sink so I can shake it a...

Fahaka behaviour change

So I have all the other fish removed from my tank and now My fahaka is acting a little different. He seems to find a nice shady spot and just look around. When the pleco was in there it was a constant assault a soon as he had nipped a fin he was positioning again to nip another. Is he more relaxed n...

I just want everyone to know no matter how unlikely you think something is understand the people who post advise know what they are talking about. I just got a Fahaka I was told by several members that my pleco could not live in the tank with this fish. I thought due to the size difference the Puffe...

My New Puffer

Well I told all of you who read my post I had placed an order for a muiris puffer. I finally got the cloudiness out of my tank the I did another water check and everything was fine. I drove to the LFS to pick him up (this is a 60 min drive) to find that upon arrival they had mislabeled my puffer and...

Re: Help me make a warm welcome for my Congo Puffer

Thank you for the info. My pleco is like 14 inches long so I thought I would give her a day or two to see if he was going to get bit on but if your bristle nose got it than Jenna Jamison will (that is my pleco's name) THe LFS I went to said that the muiris can be taught to live in communities LOL Th...
