my GSP never paces when im in the room, his tank is right next to the computer he sits and stares at me for hours while i do my homework LOL. He even proof reads my papers sometimes!

My GSP is named Puffin Mcpuffster puffdaddy puffntuff puffdizzy fohcheezy puffeezy.

I call him puffin unless he makes me mad then I have to say his full name just like my mom did when she was angry lol.

LoL, well my GSP east just about anything i put in his tank. Pretty neat, He gets a more balanced diet then i do now!!! today i found out he loves spirulina flakes. So now hes getting some veggi matter in his diet. And i do not have to load the shrimp now when i feed them to him. He also loves peas....

Mine went form 1inch to 2inchs in 3weeks. If given nice water conditions and a great diet they grow like a weed!

Ok, now that he is in the 30gal, I would just leave everything alone. Except for water changes and testing the water. Prime, does not actually remove the ammonia it just converts it to a non toxic form. So it still reads on the Ammonia test kit. Keep the water changes to about 10-15% a couple times ...

I found hold the snail between some surgical forceps with the snail open covered by the forceps really forces the puffer to chew his way to the goodness,

Also crunching the shells helped, he will just tear through everything to get to the meat lol.

Yea i soak the freeze dried krill for about 10min in a cup of tank water. Then use some surgical pliers to hold it while he eats his fill.
