I often feed large snails to my puffers. Just crack the shell a little bit by squeezing it with your fingers or pair of pliers and the puffer will do the rest of the work.

Mine only comes out when he's hungry.... which isn't every day. Normally he just stays in his cave and peeks out once in a while.

Great article. It was a fun read. I'll keep a better eye on my puffers from now on to try to read their emotions.

Looks to me like #1 and #2 are both Abei. The #2 Abei seems a bit frightened.
