unfortunately the smaller one of the 2 died last night. It hadnt been eating for a few days so I thought it might be on its last legs. The other one dosent seem to have many spots on it and is much bigger and stronger and has noticeably grown since id have him.
hopefully it will be ok for him

I picked up 2 SAPs on monday and put them in quarantine, temp 28 deg. Today when I got in from work one of them had 2 little white spots on it and neither of them would eat. Thanks for the info bosshogg. I currently have 0 nitrates because the plants use them up, maybe the added load would help them grow better as well! New to puffers - a few Questions
Hi, I have been reading the posts on here for awhile now but I havent posted untill now! I have a Juwel Rio 125 stocked with 6 Tiger Barbs, 4 Zebra Danios, 5 Otos. I would like to also get 2 SAPs. I think from what Ive read they should be able to get along together as the Tigers and Zebras are tough...
