Re: Compatibility.

I bought some danios as tankmates for my fahaka. So far my fahaka has only nipped the fin of one of the fish, no serious injury. So far so good, my fahaka seems to have no interest in them now, although he will chase my finger around. Oh, and yeah, my fahaka is just a baby. I thought he was gonna mu...

general fahaka/puffer disposition?

  • When my fahaka isn't eating, its either hiding in its cave or swimming up, down and across all over the glass. This is normal right?

Re: Spotted Climbing Perch with F8?

the real issue is if the climbing perch can be kept in a relatively low end brackish setup. the answer, yes, as with most hardy fish, just assimilate the fish slowly to the salt level. by the way, i have kept a fig 8 with a climbing perch for four months now, they do fine, the climbing perch grows a...

well they are all in .005 as of now. they're all doing okay. so my only sole solution is to feed it at night, and settle with a very inactive sole right?

Hey thanks. my only concern is feeding it. i drop krill pieces into the tank at night, but i don't know if it eats it or not. also, will it ever stop being shy? i would like to see it eat when the lights are on.

has anyone ever kept one? i have one with my gsp, and a couple of bolivian rams. I would like to know your experiences keeping this fish. However for me, all it does all day is bury himself and shifts his position during the night.

gsp theory

so i have this theory, that no matter the tank size, no matter how much decor i have, the puffer is still going to swim up and down against the glass. na, just kidding, so now for the real theory. yes, i've read the article on why puffers should be kept alone, however, i have this theory that if kep...

so... yes, definitely leaving my puffer alone now. when i went to feed my fish, the puffer got so excited it took a bite out of one of rams. luckily it was out of the dorsal fin, so now my ram is missing some of its dorsal fin. so im swapping the puffer into a different tank, by himself, and with so...
