hi ... yes he is pooing fine and its not stringy like IPs....its brown as usual... hes 5years old he has two Eheim wet and dry canister filters running..... he gets a varied diet of cockles, prawn, mussels and snails...... i did have a home testing kit but it wasnt that accurate compared to the fish...

maybe it is their test kit they did say the liquid isnt always accurate!

so do i just teat the once with epsom salt? and it wont affect him being an FW?

his tank is massivley over filtered and i checked water two days ago and nitrates were 4ppm...well thats what the lfs told me!
is that right? he said the water was perfect though?

hey the GSP is 1.5" and ceylon is 2" at the moment........ i ve got marine salt so thats all good..... i know its pot luck if they tolerate eachother....if they dont then they ll have to be separated! thanks for the advice for the substrate...... ill post some pics when its all set up! :lol:

hi everyone i ve been keeping a fahaka whos now a happy 14inches and i ve got the puffer bug! ive recently bought a ceylon puffer for my boyfriend (the LFS is keeping it until the tank is set up and cycled) and we're both a bit confused as to what is the best substrate to use? i did read the article...

i think its probably stress i ve been putting melafix in for two days and ill treat with flubenol when it arrives........thanks for all your help...saved again!!!!

oh and he s on hi own ....but we did give him a live shrimp to eat ??.....maybe this caused it ?
