It doesnt seem to matter how many snails you feed to SAP they still need to have their teeth trimmed every now and then. My guys generally need their doing about every 3-4 months. Its a bit nerve racking the first few times but after a while you get used to it.

I am looking through the aqualog and the practical fishkeeping book but i cant find any reference to the prefered salinity for this fish... does that mean it will do just as well in either?

Looks like a target puffer to me (tetraodon leiurus)... It will prolly max out about 6 inches

I have two otos and a bristlenose in with my SAPs and they all get on fine. Although as with all puffer co-habitation, I am prepared to remove them at any time.
