I've been thinking about a valentini for my SW planted tank. At the moment I have two seahorses which I'm selling next week. Don't get me wrong, seahorses are the most amazingly beautiful fish but...they are just too boring for me. My tank is 75g and has a lot of astrea, margarita, cerith and nassar...

I've found vallisenria americana and java fern to grow the best for me. Other plants just seem to lose their sparkle although I might be a bit picky.

You might also want to look into Ruppia martima.

You could always try a divider.

My knights can take a silverside that's larger than a BB goby. Personally, I wouldn't chance it.

Nice. Even though they're not hyperactive, you'll still find it a really enjoyable fish to keep.

My arrowhead wll cruise the tank well after lights out. Normally it's usually in the substrate or tucked away in the plants. Not the most active fish and probably not what you're looking for in a puffer if you want activity.

I've also been looking at a valentini as a candidate. I'm still in the research stage and trying to work out if inverts are going to be beneficial in my setup. If so, a puffer might be a big no no.
