ok just wondered as worried if they are in fresh now they would end up been stunted!!

Went to a local Shop today found some F8s, been kept in fresh water am tempted to save one of them and bring him back to brackish!!

Am I right in thinking keeping F8's in fresh stunts them?


But think I will just do bit more thinking!!??

Hi have got a spare 65 litre tank with external Ehiem 2236 filter!!

Have had a fig 8 puffer while back and loved him looking for another puffer or puffers has anyone got any stocking suggestions?

Would even consider brackish and marine puffers although probably to small for the latter?

Went to a LFS today they must have had 7-8 MBUs for sale!! Would love to rescue them but costly and first floor flat might mean sharing them with the people below!!! Lol!!

Very sad this morning as tank lights came on and I suddenly realised whole tank was setup and now running with no Puffy!!

Good news although not decided yet for certain LFS is getting some F8's in this next week! Only went to get tap water treatment!

It was air managed to burp him!! But I think it was to late finding him!! Just seemed to twitch around for a bit afterwards and some colour came back but he then passed away ten minutes or so later!!

Has what appears to be a load of air in his stomach causing him to float on surface upside down!!!HELP he is still twitching labored breathing!!

Water prams all ok!!

Is the mentioned site using US or UK gallons? Just interested as new to all this!

trying to get my rescued F8 into his correct environment was been sold as freshwater!
