yes i've got a skimmer i will see if i can get better pictures today and i will pop into my lfs today

thanks for the replys and advice do i have to put any meds in the tank to help it heal or will it cure itself.

You still should make a fuss over it and get you money back if its the wrong one and/or at least get the difference of money back. And to make it clear to the ppl who sold it to you. thats what i thought i kept him as he is beautifull and just a baby at the moment about 2" long.

I called the local fish shop and asked them to order me a dogfaced puffer last week the called to say my fish was in and i asked the wife to collect him and this is what she came home with.

i think the "Osmotic Shock Therapy" would be the easiest way forward is there any articles that explain this in greater detail as i want to be double sure before i try this as i dont want to mess up and harm the fish in any way
