the lfs just said it was live sand it is white in color. I will also remove the fish and do the water change. Thanks

I am using marine salt sg 1.009, if the ph is low what do I do about it? No I am not stirring the sand, 30 gallon tank.

ammonia 0 nit 0 nitrates 15 ph 7.5 no chemicals, extra filtration, fully cycled is this sufficient.

my gsp is very lethargic and he is laying on the bottom allot with heavy gill breathing. He seems to have 3 whit spots on his tail and a couple on the other fins. His coloration is not a sharp as usual looks dull, he wont eat just started yesterday with the not eating thing.

Okay what I meant was that it needs to be thicker than your average Plexiglas thickness from the store.

gill flukes

I have a gsp and it seems it only uses one of its gills most of the time, could this be gill flukes? No other visible sign of illness. I have heard that a treatment for flukes is a salt bath, well my puff is in high brackish water. Can flukes still survive and effect my fish? Yes my water parameters...

Yes the other night I noticed it was using both of its gills so all this time it must have only been using the one or i did not see it. I have only had my gsp for about 3 weeks.

Hello, This might sound crazy but I think my gsp only has one gill or only one that is working. One of his or her gills is moving constantly but you cant even see the other one at all.
