I’m very surprised to read this. Did you let Dan’s fish know? I got puffers from him roughly a month ago, and I haven’t noticed a problem. But they’re my 1st puffers, so I’m not sure I would notice?

Now I have more questions! I see one of my puffers eating snails, so he’s good. But not the other. How quickly do their teeth grow?

The care sheet mentions JBL NovoGranoColor and some other JBL pellets. Will those keep its teeth down? What about scuds?

How do I know if my Amazon puffers are eating the bladder snails, or the snails have just moved to a plant or similar? How do I know if they’re eating enough snails to keep their teeth trimmed? Don’t worry, I’m pretty on top of water changes. Even my most heavily planted tanks get a water change/gravel vac every single week. I even schedule days off to get it done.
