Yeah since I posted this I realized that they are quite picky eaters and are quite hard for beginners

I'm pretty new to the hobby. although I had a beta fish a few years ago and have had quite a few goldfish as well as taking care of a friends fishies from time to time. It depends on how they were raised.
If they were raised in a brackish tank they will go into shock when put in fresh water.
Always remember to ask how they were raised

I really want to get a group of 7 BBG's but I heard they breed easily.
Can i have a group of all one gender?
