I was told to add some bacteria, from a guy at the market, a few weeks ago. I'm running 1 hang-on filter and 2 internal filters. I presume the bacteria has been doing its thing within them for the time being...? I'm a total noob when it comes to this. Like i said the OP, this fish was a gift... boug...

I need to find an aquarium pet shop nearby. It has been tough lately because of the lockdowns here in Bangkok. Next time I head out I will take a water sample with me and ask around at the markets. I just cant afford to buy test kits right now.
