Re: do I need to trim f8's beak?

How do I reply with a picture? It keeps telling me the file is too big when I send it from my gallery.

do I need to trim f8's beak?

So I have two f8s that I feed snails pretty regularly, and while one is doing fine, the other, Mango, seems to have kind of a long beak. I've never had to trim a puffers beak before and frankly I don't know how to tell if she needs it. Does anyone have any pointers on how to tell? (Also posted on fi...

Re: Knight gobies and f8s?

So if I do should I go with a male female pair? Is the tank large enough for them?

Knight gobies and f8s?

All right, so possibly stupid question, but I currently have a 60 gallon brackish set up with 2 f8s, a knight goby, and 9 mollies and I'm wondering if the goby would benefit from another goby. I don't have a whole lot of experience with gobies, so I'm not sure how that would go over or even if there...

Brackish stocking ideas?

I am currently setting up a 60 gallon long brackish tank. There will be at least two f8s in there and most likely some knight gobies, but other than that I could use some help. SG will be around 1.005- 1.008 and temp is around 79. Any ideas?

Re: Feeding f8s in a community tank?

Cool, thanks! I'm leaning towards a knight goby or two, but considering bumblebees. I have heard of chromides and mollies, I'm just not sure how my puffer will react to them because he has been by himself for several months and he's pretty small now- not full grown. I'm also fairly new to brackish, ...

Feeding f8s in a community tank?

Hi, so I am (hopefully) about to be setting up a 60 gallon brackish tank. I currently have one f8 that I'm going to move into the 60 once it's cycled and I'm planning on adding another f8 and probably a goby or two. My question is how I would make sure that the gobies are getting enough food and the...
