Re: south american puffers in a community tank
Revisiting the topic of keeping these in a community tank. I've currently got a 125 gallon with a pair of Apistogramma, a pleco, and about 15 neon tetras. Contemplating if adding 3 SAP's is possible as the tank is so large with lots of driftwood. Bad idea? Or is it feasible?

Moving Cross Country
Looking for some advice on what to do with my puffers for a move across country. I currently have a 4.5" fahaka and a 4" red Congo puffer. The fahaka is in a 125 gallon and the Congo is in a 30 long. We have professional movers coming and they will be taking the 125 in the truck. For the f...

Re: south american puffers in a community tank
Aqua imports in Colorado had a couple when I was there on Saturday. They seem to be getting a lot of puffers in lately.

Re: Fahaka Puffer Slow Growth?
I got my fahaka in late July and he was just under an inch. I dewormed him and he has been in a 75 gallon with plans to move to a 125 gallon in a couple months. He is now roughly 2" long. Seems like mine kind of started out slow but as he has gotten bigger I've begun introducing crayfish tails ...

Re: Wanted: Orange or Red Congo Puffer
I got my first one and he is awesome and eating well! They had two and someone had reserved the red one so I got a nice orange one. I went ahead and reserved a second one, while I finished setting up a second tank. Picked him up yesterday. I now have a sweet red one and a nice orange one! I'm super ...

Fahaka Lethargic
I've had my fahaka about 3 months and he's been doing great. He is about 2 inches long. Last night I cut a live crawfish in half and gave him the tail and the torso to feed on. This morning he continued eating on it and then I removed the remaining crawfish shell. I went to do a 25% water change and...

Re: Wanted: Orange or Red Congo Puffer
Great news. After my LFS said they haven't seen them in stock for a long time they are getting some in later this week! Question I have a 30 long setup, cycled and ready to go. I'd like to get two, do you all think they would be ok together short term while I get a second tank setup and cycled? They...

I've been eyeing these guys for awhile, but have not seen any at my fish store. Anybody know where I could find one online?

Dragon puffer or hairy puffer
New to the forum, just stumbled across it as I have recently caught puffer fever. Currently I’ve got a 125 gallon brackish tank with archers, monos, scats, knight gobies, two spotted puffer and two figure 8’s. A second 75 gallon tank with a 1.5” fahaka and a pictus catfish (plans to move to a 125 wh...
