Thank you. I am researching different filtration options and also considering doing a swap and putting the PP in the 6 gal. tank. It is shorter than the 3 gal. by 6 inches but has twice the height. Color of API test strip shows between 0 and 20, but my eyesight is not good enough to see if it is really 20 ppm. So, not even at 30% water change every two days for a PP in a 3 gal. tank? I will not get it unless I commit to his well-being. LFS said it will be OK when I bought the tank from them. T...

Good day, Finnegan! It seems your tank has not been properly cycled. Also, too many puffers for the size tank you have. You may need to adjust. Worth investing in testing strips to check.
