he actually just ate 2 mussels and a snail twice the size of his eyeball, this is after I added activated charcoal to remove the medication to see if it's messing with his appetite. I'm going to get a hold of aquatic vet tmr. Thanks Pufferpunk!

I have been treating him with aquarium salt, enrofloxacin and melafix for a week now. no sign of healing. stopped with enrofloxacin and melafix today since he's not showing any sign of improvement. think it might have been an ulcer leaving a crater or smth. I have been doing daily 50% water changes ...

update: he's healthy and no more stringy poop! when he eats shrimps, the poop tends to be a bit stringy and white. when he eats clams and snails, his poop looks normal(black little drops)!

A patch on Mbu's belly, HELP!

1) Water parameters all normal 2) 100G tank with plecos, Danios, Tetras and Corys 3) Feeding frozen shrimps, clams, mussels and live snails. 25% water change every other day. 4) Melafix and Primafix 5) 6 months. he is not skinny at all, eating well on shrimps, clams, live crabs, live snails and live shrimp. his poop looks fine when he eats crabs. Black poop which looks more normal I guess. Trying to avoid live food unless I'm not home for a few days and I put a bunch of them in the tank. Should I stop treat...

Update: this is how his poop looks like after treating with Metronidazole and Praziquantel mixed in a piece of shrimp with Espom salt, Seachem Focus and Garlic juice.
