Re: Gagging/choking?
Yea very possible. Im receiving my all in one fert today. Replacing all the other stuff.
But reducing the Ph is very important for my tank as the tapwater is 8 which is way too high for the puffer. If not adding chemicals how would I reduce that? I know co2 lowers it a little bit but not enough.

Gagging/choking?
Hey everyone, I'm the proud owner of a Tetraodon Leiurus. Had him for 3 or so months now. Recently he has been doing some strange choking. You can actually hear it pretty good. He will contract his throat and just make like a choking sound or like something stuck and just swims along like nothings w...

Re: Newbie feeding question Target Puffer
Great read. Thanks! Yea im also not sure how mature mine is. He is about 7/8cm which for a tetraodon leiurus seems to be their max. So maybe going to every two days instead cause of him being a hunter is better? I have no idea how to see if its a mature or juvenile one. Or do you think its best to s...

Newbie feeding question Target Puffer
Hey all, Im still learning and my Tetraodon Leiurus (red eye puffer) is seeming happy in the tank. In 5 days i got him to eat snails, a worm, some cockelflesh and part of the shell and some musselmeat. Still doesnt seem to attack the small cockels at all. Mostly snails but there arent any in his tan...

Re: Lurky saying hi!
Yea he does! I made one out of stones and theres a curved big piece of driftwood with a lot of coverage and shadow below it as well as a ton of plants. Now I just need to get him comfy enough to eat :p. Didnt touch a piece of shrimp nor a mussel yday.

Re: Mussel storing/preperation
Question!^^
That HS Aqua Vivocell vitamin stuff has a guide on the back. 1ml of it per teaspoon of food. But how do you measure this for mussels or clams etc? Maybe stupid question but Im really scratching my head and i dont want to add too much..would be a waste.
