Yeah, tell me about it. I get way too attached to these fish and it frustrates me so badly that I can't help them. I've had so many puffers over the years, several different kinds, and I love them all, it sux so bad to lose them.

Okay, the SG side of my meter reads 1.004 -- is this good?

I'm using the salt I buy in bulk from the fish store, as horrible as it sounds, it comes in a clear plastic bag with just a price written on it. Owner there told me it was for brakish and SW fish. Um, will this thing read if I'm not using the right kind of salt?

Quick question, what should it safely be sitting at and which side of this do I read? The the "ppt" or the "SG"?
