Re: puffers and gobi?

Re: Pogo's in his new home.
Thank you. The veg filter above the tank is a first for me. I've done them before, but always in a sump under the tank. An added bonus is the shade it provides to that side of the tank. Pogo seems to like it, and that's what really matters. If you have video on a channel for Youtube or Vimeo etc., ...

Turgidus puffer - no mate, but tons of eggs.
Turgidus puffer - no mate, but tons of eggs. I have two turgidus puffers that shared a divided tank almost a year ago. The two look very similar, but they have different head shapes. The only new thing I did differently was add a sun shade from a window. The tank still has plants and a light on the ...

Re: Pogo's in his new home.
Awesome home. Very nice.
I run the dark/light theme too.
Plants help with water quality as the puffer gets to decide where to be.

Re: New abei puffer
Great camouflage for its environment, huh? I like your observations. Hard to believe you have successful pairs with no injuries! Pufferpunk, I re-read this thread a bit. I see what I did there if the "successful pairs with no injuries" text was in my direction. The word "pair" s...

Re: New abei puffer
Hi, I looked into Divers den and did not seem to find any freshwater abei puffers. Feel free to chat about how to find a true abei or how find the website. We're in the US too. I can't help with your current tank issue, but I do have a tip for your future puffer tank. In my tanks, I experienced a le...

Re: palustris and cutcutia puffers in route
How do you like the Cutcutia puffers? If wetspot still has them listed when the put up the new list today I think I'm gonna grab me one. They seem pretty aggressive? Hi, The Cutcutia twins and Palustris twins are both doing fine. The cutcutia have: - wide heads. - great personality. - Both are ok w...

Re: Looking for suggestions for a solo puffer in 55g tank.
The Fahaka image is not coming through. The manager I trust at the store got me on an obvious thought. BaitWorms- feed them. Get past the stage of the bait tub they came in. I think I may do a live bait worm tub with compost and banana peels etc. Gut loaded worms (by me). I have to figure out where ...

How is the Fahaka?
-liking people?
I hope you got a nice one.
That is too big of a potential body to be a hider or lurker.

Re: palustris and cutcutia puffers in route
How big do the Palustris Puffers get? I somewhat believe what is out there as for size info, but I'm trying to make sure I even have the species I think I do! 2 Palustris and 2 Cutcutia came from the Wetspot. The employee said the cutcutia went ape-nuts over a green algae magnet at the store. I bel...
