And the other "friends", I haven't seen any fight between them, I think it is because the very dense planted tank... with lots of hiding...

Thanks Iliveinazoo, very interesting arguments about why could Planaria won't probably be on the interest of DPs. I only wanted to know if any owner had seen his DPs predating towards Planaria... They don't eat them because Planaria don't exist in their natural habitat? Seriously? So, if I bring to a lion a cangaroo he won't eat it? This is only an example, understandme...
And what about other fish wich they do eat Planaria?

Maybe you could try with marine fish eggs. At the first time my DPs did not eat them but at the secont time they accepted.

My fish are healthy, not overpopulated, I do water changes, I take care from my fish and I just want to know if anybody has seen his DPs predates towards Planaria. If you don't have the answer, please stop giving me advices wich look like I am not taking care to my fish. Thanks.

I do a water change one a week about 30%, is enough for you? No sarcasm. Just everybody is telling me what I am no asking and what I already know.

Have you seen other fish eat them? No, but I have read: "Josh Davis, President of Live Fish Direct, says that the following fish are known to eat Planaria, although he asserts that almost any fish will eat them: angel fish, fat heads, gambusia, orangethroat darters, redbelly dace, sand shiner,...

I have not a problem with Planaria and my tank it is not overpopulated. Do you know the size from these fish? About Planaria its presence it is very small and has decreased because I solved some problems with my filtration. If I started this topic is because I am curious about why DPs don't predate ...

DPs and planaria

Hi, new here. I have a 100 liters tank very heavely planted with 4 DPs, 11 Corydoras nanus and 4 Chlamydogobius eremius with good relationship at the moment. I give DPs freezed bloodworms and marine fish eggs and alive Daphnia wich they eat without problem. In the tank there is a Planaria population...
