Re: Canthigaster and Diodon compatibility?

Thanks, that was a great article!
Previously I have kept all of those species that were mentioned that can be kept as a group, and some that live alone, and one breeding pair.
So I'll choose some algae eating companion that won't be competing of food with the D. holocanthus, then. :)

Canthigaster and Diodon compatibility?

Hello, I'm starting a tank for Diodon holocanthus, but I fear it would feel lonely being the only fish and my fish store can order a great variety of other puffers and I was wondering if I could add some Ganthigaster species. Do you think they would get along? I have had D. holocanthus before with s...

Re: Breeding Dwarf Puffers

My fish store owner told that their dwarf puffers always get in to the mood immediately when they ad Tetra Vital https://www.tetra.net/scan/en/products/tetra-vital to the tanks. Re: Tetraodon schoutedeni on the way- advice needed

I've been told my fish shop are going to get these in after the new year. Hi, may I ask what stock company your pet shop is using to getting them, and how much they cost there? I'd like to get a pair of T. schoutedeni myself, but I wonder how the Germany bred fish can cost 200€ if the wild ones are...

Re: Please don't buy wild dwarf puffers!

I think that besides metropolitan areas, smaller countries (like Finland, where I live) it would be possible to gain a reputation that you are breeding and selling these. We have one very active aquarium forum, where it's easy to reach lots of hobbyist who come to the forum to search information of ...

Please don't buy wild dwarf puffers!

I just heard about recent studies of dwarf puffer, carinotetraodon travancoricus, becoming endangerous species. It is listed as "vunerable" in IUCN Red list of threatened species http://www.iucnredlist.org/ (write 'tetraodon' into search to view list of pufferfish, for example) Here is one...
