Hey hrpuffersnstuff, what kind of tank mates do you have with those guys? Also, two questions on scats
1. Is a planted tank a must?
2.Do they need full salt as they mature?

Anyone have any kind of experience with green scats? I was looking at setting up my 70 odd gallon tank for them and was wondering if anyone had any kind of advice, tankmates, warnings, etc.? Also, while were at it, I was wondering if anyone has ever had any luck keeping night gobys with figure 8s? I...

After doing a water change and heading out, I noticed one of my figure 8s hiding out with his tail curled. I know this is a sign of stress. Is this due to the stress of the water change? Or should I worry about it being something else?

the lfs told me I might be able to get away with a scat if I can find one over 3". Anybody have any Idea about this? He also mentioned a brackish moray eel, anyone have any clue about that?

So I have a 46 gl brackish tank with three figure 8s about 2-3 inches apiece. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on other fish that could be added? What I'm loking for is something that wont eat the puffers, that wont get too big for the tank, and that will be big enough to stand a chan...

ok, so i just brought home my puffers. They were in a brkish tank with salinity of .009 my tank is at 1.004 is there any way to do acclimation without the drip? Say small water changes while there in the bag? I woud like to get theses guys and the bbg i got settled soon. Thanks a ton!

Ok everyone, so ive been cycling the tank for a few days now. The ammonia spike, than the nitrite. But the nitrite has broken down and left me with low nitrate(about 10). Is this normal? And if so, am i ready for fish or do I go for another turn with the ammonia?

Yeah, theres been ammonia in it everyday since the cycle started. So for the double dose of ammonia, how long should i expect that to break down?

Ok, so the ammonia levels in my tank are at 0, and the nitrite is spiking. How long until i can expect to see nitrate? And should I not change the water until the nitrite is totally gone?

yeah, i called au to see if they keep them in brackish. They said they keep them at about 1.002. But ill check out that hoffers too. Thanks guys
