My puff devoured freeze-dried krill. That was until I fed him pond snails for a week straight (population was getting out of control). Now he won't touch the things -_-.


I would also recommend frozen over freeze dried if you can find the frozen kind.

You can get the Master Test Kit from aquarium pharmacuticals. It consists of liquid tests for PH, Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate and some beakers with caps to conduct your tests. If you don't have your refractometer by now I would bite the bullet and go pick up a hydrometer while you wait. They cost about $10 and will do fine until you get the refractometer in the mail.
