gravel...sand....?????

Hi There Am looking at redesigning my tank with 1 GSP, currently have black gravel. Do GSP need to have a certain type of substrate or can the bottom of the tank be left clear...just glass, was wondering if anyone had done this? Or have pictures, have seen in LPS but i suppose these are just tempora...

moving house - help!

Could you give me some feedback on this idea please? I currently have a GSP tank around 30 gallons, established about 10 months. 2 GSP will be looking for larger tank once i have successfully moved!! Internal filter Just added three weeks ago external canister Due to move in next few weeks, not sure...

Hi Myaj

yes you are right is 40 gallons and was misinformed by my friendly LFS, he said i could have up to 6 in that tank!!

nitrate and nitrite <0.3mg/liter

previously did water change 3 weeks ago

GSPs 9 months old, so quite small inch and half

tank is 120 litres

just hoovered gravel and used tank water for cleaning ornaments

:oops: did a water change yesterday and thoroughly cleaned ornaments and gravel yesterday. Tank has been up and running for 9 months, salinity 1.010, nitrate and nitrite levels fine. one fish died during the night but had been looking skinny and poorly for some time. I have apparently four GSPs, however i was told that all GSP had white bellies is this true?

One of my puffers, the largest in approx 9 months, about three months ago it developed the spots on its belly...is this normal?

tank size is approx. 30 gallons according to a calculator. LFS suggested i could have up to 6 in this size tank.....it must be a UK thing.
