Re: WTB Tetraodon schoutedeni (USA)

Wes is my contact. He is on Facebook and Monster Fish Keepers. I spoke with him 2 weeks ago in an effort to connect him with another few people, he was on vacation at the time and sold his last 5 to a member here! He told me he was going to try and get one last group before the season ended, so now ...

Exotic fish shop has them up for sale now, listed as “freshwater red eye dragon puffer”, but I assure they are indeed Irrubesco.

Re: C. Irrubesco for sale soon!

Awesome, good to know! You’re due for a FW tank again, maybe I can road trip it down to visit. You can teach me to setup a saltwater tank (oh boy my husband will be thrilled 😄)! btw, how are your dream loaches? Like I said, making no promises on behalf of others, simply putting out feelers for who ^...

Re: I found another Duboisi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The last one I have a 45 gallon tank with a African tiger scat fish and the parrot fish, they all got along just fine, there were no issues. Hopefully this one will not scratch itself somewhere and grow a bump like the last one, just praying that it will have no issues with it’s health. Oh no, did ...

Re: I finally got my irrubesco!! For real this time.

I have most all. Prazi, metro, levamisole, and fenbendazole. On the small puffs I like using the fenbend powder bc they don’t eat as much and I find it’s easy to get the right amount of meds into the food and into them. I was just wondering if one of them is better for using in a situation where the...

Re: What's Wrong with Blinky s Tail?

https://photos.app.goo.gl/x1jmi2j3FCXBiK4WA I am so sorry sweetie, I know it never gets easier losing a beloved puff. He likely had the most comfortable days of his life with you, you have a huge heart for even trying to save her. Though I do not have enough info to do a thorough diagnosis, I see s...

Astrid37- oh no, I am so, so sorry. Our prayers are with you and the puffs. Wes is wonderful and will break his hump to make the customer happy... wish the same could be said for FedEx. Re: I finally got my irrubesco!! For real this time.

Omg that reminds me, I’m so busy being heartbroken over the loss of my female I have forgotten about the male having IPS. I desperately need advice, with treating Clyde. He likely has the same load going on as Bonnie did- how should I continue forward? Should I only treat at 1/2 dose? Is one IP med ...

Re: I finally got my irrubesco!! For real this time.

Pp- thank you, that means a lot coming from you. I’m wondering if it wasn’t the IP treatment that did her in. Thursday was her first round, and not knowing how bad she was infected I gave the normal dose instead of a lighter one. She did have about as many dead worms in her as live. Also, a thought ...

Re: I finally got my irrubesco!! For real this time.

She’s gone. She was gravid with eggs... and had a huge calamanus worm load. I noticed she was rounded up but never having seen an egg bound fish of any sort, I didn’t know that was why. She had quite a few thin red worms coming out her vent... She had the mating bite marks as described in my last po...
