The same thing is going on with my GSP. He is not very active and his left eye is starting to get cloudy. He gets pushed around by the filter and just floats around at the top and just lays at the bottom. He also may be going blind too because he seems to be bumping into the plants and decor.

I have 1 lonely otto in a SG of 1.005-1.006. I didnt mean to leave him in the tank, but I guess I had 1 more then I thought I did. The rest are in a FW DP tank. But I wouldnt suggest leaving them in.

its possible it could be the same thing. just that mine is on the top of its head and has no discoloration.

Ok, water params are all good, did a fresh water change on the weekend. I have been noticing that my GSP has a lump on his head and believe this is causing his discomfort (blackish belly). I tried to get pictures but he is not camera friendly. It basically looks like lump...like he bumped his head, ...

In the hospital forum there is a sticky about Salt Water Ich. Take a look if you havent already.

My GSP did this aswell. Last time it happened I didnt think much and the behavior didnt last very long. He did for like 2 days and then he just stopped doing it. But to be safe take the precautions, maybe Melafix/Pimafix.

i was gonna put some fiddler crabs in my GSP tank but the lady thought I was just gonna use them as food. truth is, i was gonna see if my GSP could/would eat those little guys. but i wouldnt mind them in the tank either. only problem is that there would be no place for them to be out of water...unle...

man that is sooooo freakin awsome, if i was in the same country i would be glad to take one or 2...lol

I usually take it out of the shell and cut it up into smaller pieces. 1 mussel can last like 2 weeks or more.

I just feed mine mussels from the grocery store. They are usually just Boil Treated. Theres alot of different textures inside mussels...its kinda wierd how they are.

cool man, did they have it in stock or did they order it for you? I wanted to ask them about a Fahaka. Im gonna head out there tomorrow I will look out for it.
