Help Needed: Changing Substrate in Established Tank
Hey Puff Family, I have a well established 75G freshwater tank with regular aquarium gravel substrate. I recently received two 1" Ceylon Puffers that are happy and eating. I will begin the change over to brackish and full marine as they grow and over time. As a first step, yesterday I bought 60...

Re: Help: Ceylon Filtration and Substrate
Thanks for the link. What about filtration? Will two 350 Marine land Biowheels be enough into High Brackish/SW.
Also can I use the instant ocean orange bag of reef crystals salt or should I get the regular purple bag. What the difference?
Thanks

Help: Ceylon Filtration and Substrate
I'm looking for some advice on filtration and substrate for a Ceylon puffer tank. The tank was given to me and is currently FW with two aquaeon filters and black gravel. 75G: Palembang Puffer or Ceylon Puffer
Just thought I'd get some opinions on what puffer I should go with for my 75G. I don't mind having a FW or High end BW tank. I like the look of both puffers but I am leaning towards the Ceylon since they have a good personality and are more active. I think I might be able to keep two Ceylons in a 75...

Re: Look what I have......
What is the tank size? Does it have any tank mates? And how was the health of the fish when you got it?
I've had quite a few different FW and BW Puffers in the past. I'm interested in getting one of these or a Ceylon down the road.
Thanks
