Macro shot. This one started to rot and had fungus growing. It suppose to be clear.

Schoutedeni puffer - 1 year before/after picture
It has been a little over a year since I got my puffer. I've been calling her Leo until I found out she was actually a female. She has been laying hundreds of eggs every couple weeks recently. Just wanted to show a before and after picture. Before (~2in) https://i.imgur.com/MTp3sg7.jpg After (~4in) ...

Re: Looking to get a slightly larger FW friend...
My Schoutedeni loves to bite my cryptocoryne wendtii. Every couple days, I see a leaf floating with bite marks all over the stem. He does not bite any of my other plants though.

Re: Tetraodon Schoutedeni
My puffer is a very picky eater. I always use tongs to feed him. He would chase after it looking for snails. I will probably stop feeding him and hope he will try eating other food.

Re: Tetraodon Schoutedeni
My schoutedeni puffer usually open its tail when the lights are off. Are you able to feed it anything else beside snail? I'm having trouble trying to get it to eat "dead" food. I've tried clams, dried shrimp, frozen bloodworm, squid, tilapia and pellets. I even dipped the food in garlic ju...

Re: Puffer unable to swim straight
Nope, he does not eat on the surface, so I don't think he swallowed air. I tried the burping method found on this site earlier just to make sure.

Puffer unable to swim straight
Hi, I recently got a cutcutia puffer and have been in my quarantine tank for 2 weeks. I treated him with paraguard every other day and levamisole HCL twice a week. I took out about 20-30 worms on the first week. The second week there were more worms. He was doing fine until 2 days ago. He is unable ...

Need info on Cutcutia puffer
Hello, does anyone have any info on this puffer. What temperature, PH, GH and minimum tank size do they require? There's not a lot of information on this puffer. Hoping someone here has experience keeping one.
