I have a tank full of mts and 5 DPs. How bad of an idea would it be if I turned on the lights in the middle of the night so the puffers could snack a little? The thing is, that mts come out when fishes go to bed and they miss eachother.

There are a lot more than just 2, actually. But these two are most talked about on web forums, so I thought I'd ask... Well, next week I'll have a chance to choose, so I will just take the nicer ones.

Want to add a few otocinclus to my DP tank. However, I can't decide if it is the otocinclus affinis or macrospilus, that you're all talking about? I can get macrospilus today, but have to order affinis. If there is any real difference, but the size?

Another quick question, hope I'm not stealing the thread too much:
Should I use the tank cover or is it okay if I don't? I have it, but the tank looks so much sexier without it. I know more water will evaporate without it, but anyway?

I'm also setting up a tank for dwarf puffers. So far the 54L (~15G?) tank has housed 3 goldfish that I got as a gift... Yes, big fish, small tank.
