Oh he still gets everything else. He just tends to eat far less of it after filling up on pellets.

So my 3.5" Fahaka has discovered his love for pellet foods for predatory fish. Will this be a calorie-dense enough diet to keep up with their activity levels? He lives with some clown loaches and so far behaves so the pellets go in every day anyway, he just eats half of them before the loaches ...

The name I've heard tossed around is Tetraodon lineatus rudolfensis. I've got a 6'x2'x2' that I intend to be a home for this guy so I'd obviously like a full sized fahaka down the road.

I've had a baby fahaka (listed as CB by the vendor but who knows) that's grown from 1.5" to almost 3" over the last couple months. I got this little guy with the intention of having him alone in my 180 gal but now am hearing there is two subspecies of fahaka and one only grows a few inches...
