Re: Your experiences with Live Rock

I know this is an old thread. I wanted to toss my experience out there. Several years ago when first starting out I had a 75 g. So was able to buy an electric but gorgeous mix of rock. I had 3 show pieces of Marshall which at the time was 17.00 a pound. I went to a different store and bought a coupl...

Re: Tank mates for dogface

I have no idea where 'sticking suggestions' came from! I am mortified! I am on my cell and all I can think of is somevaito correction or started a word. Please forgive that! I just want suggestions on whether tank mates would be beneficial due to the messy eating. If so what. In what order. I have b...

Tank mates for dogface

I haven't posted again since I first joined. I have been busy setting up some new equipment, trying to get my tank updated for its new residence. The 40 gallon qt is almost ready. I am seeding some material in my 150g. I'm still plumbing the other tank which will house the fish I have now. Which are...

Re: Brittle stars

Sorry for the typos the tank I have is 150 not 250. And thank you for the sentiments regarding my brittle. I am probably as attached to her as people their puffers :) she is HUGE#! I think she will be fine. I just worry too much...lol I found the articles on breeding food for puffers!!! I am going t...

Brittle stars

I am setting up my 150g to house either a dog face or porc. Before I get my puffer I have to set up my 40g for some geriatric fin friends I have. I am so torn as to what to do with my brittle star! I fear she will be too cramped in the 40g. I even asked on wet web media and the guy who answered said...

Re: Hi :)

That is fantastic news!
Omg, after reading about dogfaced and the porcupines on here the choice will be hard. I have a couple of months to decide which one though, since the 40 has to cycle ( after I get it set up) lol
I look forward to getting to know you all :)

Hi :)

Hello, I am happy I came across this site! I am redoing my 150 gallon and am considering a puffer. So here I am to do some research. It will be quite a bit before I get one. (if I find it appropriate) I was deciding between a trigger and puffer but the trigger is too big for my tank. I buy fish for ...
