How do dwarf puffers do with moving?
I ask this question cautiously because I know it's probably a bad idea. Just wanted to check here first in case it isn't. I'm setting up my 10 gallon again and I'm tempted to house a single dwarf puffer in it as it's been a long-term desire of mine. The issue is, I may have to move (about a 10 hour ...

Re: Help please - unsure about my F8 mouth
+1 to the above. If it's 30 litres then we can't even guess at what was wrong because the underlying issue was most likely that it was in too small of a tank. The rule for F8's is 15 gallons (57 litres) for the first one and 10 gallons (38 litres) for each additional one. What kind of salt are you u...

Re: Can I put a Dragon Goby with a GSP?
I know the GSP needs to go full-marine, but I'm not doing that for 2 years. This would be for the time being (also there are reports on this forum of Dragon Gobies being fine in full marine). I've seen stories of DG and GSP working out just fine on other forums, which is what prompted me to ask the ...

Can I put a Dragon Goby with a GSP?
Tank specs: 55 gallon, sand substrate, 1 GSP (1.75in), currently at 1.005 but raising to 1.010 where it will stay for a year or so.
As the title states, could I house a Dragon Goby with my GSP? The GSP is currently the only fish in there.

10g dwarf puffer questions
Have an empty, planted 10 gallon tank (betta fish sadly passed away from a fungal infection, even after treating within a few hours of the first signs :( ) and I'm thinking about putting dwarf puffer in there. Just going to focus on the plants for now, but I I'll add some fish in the new year. The t...

I'd add more SAPs. They like to be in groups.

Re: Help ID these marks
Thank you! So I will continue to treat for the melafix but should I continue the IP meds just in case? I suspected IP's for a while when I first got him because he was always noticibly skinner than the other. I've been purposely over-feeding him with high quality, meaty foods for about 2 weeks but h...

Help ID these marks
Tank Details: 55 gallon, 1 juvenile GSP (1.75in), 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 5ppm nitrate, salinity = 1.005-1.008. Background: the tank started off with 2 GSPs but one started bullying the other one and took chunks out of several fins and possibly the body, so I took the aggressive one back. A couple day...

Re: hello from Wales Uk
Did you say you're keeping an F8 and a GSP in a 10 gallon tank? yes, but i did this for a couple of reasons, with my run of bad luck/ miss information and it was my first brackish tank so really going at it blind. also i wanted to make sure i could establish them correctly before i move them into a...

Re: Do I need to treat for IP's?
In my current apartment, no. When I move out in 1 and a half years I will.
