Got my friend to take a water sample to LFS, will get the results for you.

I know that my nitrates are a bit off. Looking for medias to put in the filter to reduce them.

Re: Zebra Plecos

I've found people who breed for pleasure rather than profit and they will sort you with 1 male 3 females for free if you collect.

But they start breeding around a year and a bit?

But if you master reproducing storm conditions you can get loads.

Zebra Plecos

Hi Guys,

Decided to start breeding his Zebra Plecs.

Just wandering if anybody knows the tank size you would need for 1x Male and 3x Females to live comfortably in?

Cheers

Building / Purchasing Large Tank

Hello Guys,

Been told that the Mbu needs a lot of room to live.

I have a Mbu "Sugar Puff" currently ~5", I am planning to build or get him a much bigger home.

Anybody got any build threads / link to where you can get a good quality tank large enough to house a Mbu?

Cheers

Re: Show us your Puffer Cribs

I have read you can smear soft food onto the rock for the puffer. What soft food would you recommend? Any decor to entertain the puffer you can recommend please. I'm thinking of relaying the tank with a row of flowers at the rear. I have 2x small barrels, drift wood, a cube and 2x medium rocks. Plea...

Re: Show us your Puffer Cribs

May this be the reason why he sits on the bottom?

Usually when I walk into his room he will fly around the tank and follow me round but a lot of the time he is sat on the bottom.

Also i put a rock in for his to nibble on to file down his teeth but no markings of him touching the rock.
