yes, the tank was cycled with an instant cycle and then kept with some tetras that are now in a community tank. i changed the light on the top to an old led light i had and he calmed down and is doing fine now!

Could he be trying to get to the darkness?

It seems to only happen when the tank lights are on and my room is dark

Lmfao no maybe I should've but I just fed him some frozen brine shrimp and after a little while he's ramming the walls could he be trying to fight his reflection?

So after ordering my f8 for my 45g tank and going to pick it up it is a clear as day GSP. I told the salesman who was still convinced it was a f8 (what do i know he works in a fish store). i showed him pictures of real f8s and he just told me it was the only kind they could get. i called around to o...

When I spoke with the salesman he clarified that they were a brackish fish and he'd have to order out so I am assuming that they will be in brackish Im going to stop by on the way home from work and ask

I'll see if I can and about the same sg I saw another post of instant cycles would one of those work in this case or are they only for strict fresh or saltwater

i realize that now that I'm thinking about it kinda feel like an idiot what would be best for me to do from the point I'm at now that would work the fastest?

Wow thanks probably just saved me he told me since I was using stuff from an established tank I wouldn't have to do anything and it would just grow the bacteria from there looks like there will be a little delay on adding fish

A friend of mine has a brackish tank with a couple knight gobies he gave me some water filter media and substrate to use in my set up. It's been in there just sitting for about 2 weeks and I've been doing water tests every few days
