I have a Snail tank going well. I'd like to have more variety. Id really like to try crayfish and clams. Are freshwater clams ok to eat?

Our local Walmart has a lot of shrimp. And I have fed him that. But that's it. Maybe some crab. I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan. There's just not much here.

I'm very limited to what I can get in my area as far as food goes to my puffers. I'd really like to get some things to aid in the teeth trimming. Clams being my first choice.
