How long ago did you remove the frog? Did you keep the old filter media when you changed filters? I kept what I could, she had a sponge in the bottom of the whisper filter that I put in the new filter and started the tank with. I also put some flake food into a tied closed stocking to feed the tank...

It's been cycling for almost 3 months now. There was an african dwarf frog in there before my friend upgraded to a bigger tank to get more frogs.
