Thanks for your kind comments. The tank is a Boyu TL-450H (the H meaning 'high'). It's about 65 litres. The replacement for it early next year will be a sump'd Juwel Rio 180 which I am in the process of designing now. I wouldn't want to keep Puffy in this tank for more than another 6 months. To be h...

Isn't the amount you feed them relative to a) what you're feeding them and b) how physically large they are?

I've had my brown one for almost a year now and no sign of red, even though the tank has red/pink substrate.. He does go from very dark brown (when the light is off) to a very light brown during the day as you can see below.. He likes to sit in his plants :) http://di.cx/gallery/albums/Misc/fishyfis...
