Re: Is my tank DP ready?
Thank you guys! Indeed it's cycled and stable, pretty much ready to go as soon as I'm confident it's ready. I'm having trouble squeezing little plants in since the driftwood covers so much of the ground, lol. It's hard to tell but in the back the piece on the left sharply slopes down and covers pret...

Re: Is my tank DP ready?
It suddenly got a lot deeper once I pushed all that driftwood into it...lol! I noticed that too. I'll pull some of it out, thanks.
But other than that does it look okay?

Is my tank DP ready?
I've been prepping my 10G for a puffer for awhile and now it's cycled and stable so I'm in the home stretch. I've been collecting everything I might want for the tank and yesterday I went out and bought the last of the supplies. I know they like a lot of hides and cool stuff to check out, so I thoug...

Re: Questions About Red Eye Puffers and Dwarf Puffers
Update to my last post: on the filter, I've just ordered a canister filter, I figure regardless of which of the three species I end up with it will be a good idea to have a more powerful filter.

Re: Questions About Red Eye Puffers and Dwarf Puffers
Thank you guys very much for the input so far. It sounds like still kind of mixed reviews on whether the tank will be appropriate, so it looks like I'll just have to think long and about it unless anyone comes in with a majorly definitive answer. I still have plenty of time as I want to wait a few m...

Questions About Red Eye Puffers and Dwarf Puffers
I have a 10 gallon tank I've been preparing to get a small freshwater puffer, and it will be my first time keeping a puffer, but I have been keeping freshwater fish for awhile now. I was originally planning on getting a dwarf puffer, but then I learned about red eye puffers and I'd really like to ge...
