Anybody want to help out me and my survey?

This is a bit of a tall order, but I do need some help. Basically, I made a survey and have a focus group for it that is looking at what the difference is in some motivators between purchasing decisions and habits. For example, I am looking at relationships between price, health, environmental quali...

Been gone for over a year; reintroduction time

So, it has been quite some time. I joined last year when I had some GSP's, and since have drifted away from most online stuff. Anyway, hello everybody! My name is Chris and I currently live in Reykjavik, Iceland. Whereas I do not (to my knowledge) have any resources to getting a good puffer tank tog...

Genetics

So... let's skip to the chase. I am a very obsessive person, and love to learn new things. I know a little bit about various puffer species but was wondering if anybody had links or articles or PDFs or what have you for info on puffer evolution and adaptation. It is just something I want to research...

Aquaponics Setup

Hello everybody, hope you all are well. i am a huge Aquaponic (AP) nut. I was wondering if anybody was able to manage a puff based AP system. I would imagine freshwater unless you have something incredible happening. Anyway, I don't know too much about the practicality; just want to see experiences,...

Re: GSP laid eggs

Dear community, thankyou for your support and talking. The potential egg or substance is now gone. I tried to investigate it a bit and a second puffer destroyed it. I'll see what can happen in the future and as to the object: I can send pictures if you like.

Re: GSP laid eggs

I will give it six more days before I admit defeat. haha. What kind of tanks are the gsps in? They are just in a basic tank. It has a log cave one often hides in, a sponge filter/air bubbles, a heater,, one indigenous plant and a circulating filter. Salinity- ideally brackish but constant changes. I...

Re: GSP laid eggs

I am going to keep monitoring this thing for a few more days and will try to figure it out. I am a new breeder, so mistakes are not unforseen. It could be a bacteria, but I really don't know why it would change their habits. I live in China, so the only tool I have is a hydrometer which took a lot t...

GSP laid eggs

Hello everybody and I hope you all are well. I have been granted a blessing and need some help. I believe my puffers have laid some eggs. I gave them a diet of ghost white shrimp with additional snails periodically and biweekly water changes. Recent I noticed in the roots of my live plant a fuzzy wh...
