Re: Porcupine Puffer Compatibility with Another Puffer?
My puff is a bit of a wimp....lol....Puff could careless about the other fish in there. Even when the Domino Damsel and Clownfish try and take Puff's shrimp from his/her mouth, Puff flees the scene and hides in the rock. I do think my Puff is quite the fearful thing. When the Blue Hippo Tang would h...

Re: Porcupine Puffer Compatibility with Another Puffer?
I just saw in another forum something PufferPunk said "Have you ever kept 2 marine puffers together for any period of time??? We don't suggest keeping more than 1 puffer to a tank here."
I now have my answer. Still would like opinions on the snowflake eel if possible. Thanks.

Porcupine Puffer Compatibility with Another Puffer?
Greetings, fellow puffer friends. I have a 130 gallon tank. Is there another type of puffer that wound be compatible with my porcupine puffer? If so, what would be the ones? Also, would a snowflake eel be compatible with my porc? Thanks in advance.

Tiny white bugs swimming and on plexiglass
Greetings, Puff friends. I have these tiny little white gnat flea swimmers in my tank. They appeared after I removed the live rock to remove a nasty blue hippo tang. My research online appears to be "copepods", however my tank guy says they are not if I did not add them. They do not bother...

Re: Pictures of my Long-Spine Porcupinefish
I also have a Parrot Fish Cichlid in another tank (she's my bedroom girl) which is obviously freshwater.... And, upon further admiring her (her name is Chelsea, I have only named her because she is 5+ years), does anyone else notice the resemblance in eyes to a puffer? She is very intelligent and gr...

Re: Pictures of my Long-Spine Porcupinefish
Try soaking other foods in garlic. She needs a variety. And, another valuable lesson I have learned (not to go off topic too much under the pics category). I purchased a blue hippo tang late last year. What a mistake that was. I from now on WILL ALWAYS DO MY DUE DILIGENCE before ever adding fish to...

Re: Pictures of my Long-Spine Porcupinefish
Try soaking other foods in garlic. She needs a variety. Thanks for the tip. I do Selcon two times and Garlic the third and repeat. Pbaby seems to prefer the Selcon more than the Garlic. However, I do know the Garlic keeps their immune system up and them safer from ich and other parasites. I also do...

Re: Pictures of my Long-Spine Porcupinefish
Hi Poofpuff! Poofpuff smiles right back at ya.... Thanks to this forum and the internet, I have learned not to feed him/her krill because of lockjaw. I feed my Pbaby shrimp right now, but I marinate it in Selcon. I have had to remove the shell to get him/her comfortable. My Pbaby is getting very co...

I wanted to share my photos of the love of my life. I have a name for him/her, however I never use it as I have been told once you name your fish, the superstition is they die.....So, I just call him/her aloud Poof or Puff.....I hope you enjoy his/her photos just as much as I do......

I am new to this very informative and wonderful site
Greetings to all. I am new to this forum, however I have been reading and on it for a few months. I have a porcupine puffer (the love of my life) and a domino damsel, 3 yellow tail damsels, a blue damsel, and two clownfish. All are in a 130 gallon Tenecor tank with 50 lbs+ of live rock. I have had m...
