About the brackish water, I go back and forth between brackish and fresh. I do this because of the Zebra Loaches.

Got it! I think I like this option, I can put an algae scrubber and my heater in the sump so the back of the tank will look clean.

Oh man I'm surprise to know my 55gal tank actually only holds about 40gal of water, with the gravel and décor included. For the experts, is this figure right? I also go this route, I've failed miserably at keeping real plants in FW tanks, let alone BW.

I can never catch my puffer sleeping, he must have night vision because he sees me in the dark and comes up to greet me.

And yeah he's only 1.5 Inches but he thinks he's 1.5 feet.
