OMG i am so happy!!! i fed my fahaka a little piece of crab leg and i saw it going at it.... just now under a driftwood.. I cannot tell you guys how happy i am to see that.. finally lol

ah i see.. i tried feeding a flower crab pincers i think that scared him.. cause he is still a tiny fellow at around 2 inches without tail...... could i rule out overgrown teeth at this size and age?

Boxermum- ah i see. how did you train yours.. could i try using a satay stick and poking the meat and waving it infront of the puffer? but it does eat dead bloodworms.. but maybe cause they were wriggling under the water currents.. haha

sorry for hogging your thread.. hmm could newly bought baby fahakas have overgrown tooth? cause my fahaka does not seem to eat properly.. he does eat bloodworms but when i drop cockles in he simply ignores them.... or must i give him training haha

darn its just so amusing how they managed to get the gravel on top of their heads while burrowing haha.. anyway he seems to burrow after eating... any idea why? feeling safe? or? i also have some ghost shrimp there but they are too fast for him maybe when he grows bigger..

it just keeps 'chilling out' at the bottom of the tank.... under the drift woods and stuff

its about 2 inches with tail..
my tank does have enough cover.. it likes to hide under one of the drift woods...

Burrowing = Stressed?
Hi all, I have just gotten my fahaka 2 days ago and it has not been eating much for the first day but it has begun eating more on the second day.. Also it has been burrowing every now and then.. Just wondering is burrowing a sign of being stressed? The fahaka looks fine.. poo is not stringy and stom...

Dear Hilly and other people, Pardon me about the previous post i have tried posting 2 other times but have failed so i was just trying out posting. Anyway lets talk about my current situation.. I do know that 120g and above is recommended for a fahaka, however the maximum i can go is a 4 by 2 by 1.5...
