I never fed him krill. I had read that it could be harmful.
He ate Freeze dried blood worms and live ghost shrimp.
Update: He has passed. And I did discover that his jaw was broken. I have no idea how that hapened.

Re: Looks like my puff can't eat
I could not get a good pic and the videos I took would not load.
So I put them on You Tube.

I hope you can see the discoloration on the left side of his face. It's kinda pink and maybe swollen.

Re: Looks like my puff can't eat
I am going to the mainland this weekend. I will look for a "real" pet shop. My shop here is not helpful.
I will look for a new text kit also. Can you recomend one?
This eating problem is very recent. I don't know if the salt is the problem... but I'll look into that too.
Thank you

Re: Looks like my puff can't eat
He is a figure eight.
When I looked up his species online, salt was recomended.
When I do the water change, I keep about a gallon of the old water to help with the transition.
I have had no problem with him before this and I have had him for a little over a year.

Re: SAP Teeth Trimming
I was afraid at first when I had to trim my puffers teeth too. The trick is to sedate the fish (again... a frightening thing). And buy sharp cuticle cutters (important if your puff is small). I went to a health food store and got some Clove oil. I put one drop of oil per 1cup of water in a small buc...
